When you first sign up we show you a Tier picker. The choice is reversible from Settings → Profile → Experience tier, so don't agonize — pick what you want today and change it later.
The tier you pick determines which surfaces appear in your nav. Switching tiers never deletes data; surfaces hide / unhide based on tier and your historical data persists either way.
Light Tier
The minimum-pressure surface. Designed for someone who wants to take an assessment, get a result, log mood occasionally, and not be nudged to do anything else.
Includes:
- IQ + Personality assessments (Big Five, MBTI, Optimism, Calibration)
- Static results pages with character matches and life-area insights
- Mood tracker (daily check-in, year-in-pixels visualization)
- Basic journaling (single-prompt entries, no advanced filters)
- Booster scheduler (light reminders for retention)
- Help center + Crisis resources
- Account settings + privacy controls
Not included: habits, goals/systems, full journal (search/filter/tags), self-assessment scales beyond the basics, exercises, pathways, community, mentorship, workbook aggregator.
Good fit if: you're here for the test + occasional mood check-in, not a daily-life-tools practice.
Medium Tier
Light Tier plus the daily-life-tools layer + community. The most common picks.
Adds:
- Habits tracker (Today panel, streaks, goal-linked habits)
- Goals & Systems
- Full journal (search, filter, tags, prompts)
- Daily Review
- Self-assessment scales (PHQ-9, GAD-7, all 20)
- Exercise catalog (CBT/ACT/DBT/Mindfulness/Pos-Psych)
- Community forums + chat rooms + DMs
- Mentorship + accountability partnerships
- Challenges + reputation system
- My Workbook (chronological feed across exercises/journal/mood/scales/reviews)
Good fit if: you want a quantified-self practice with a community alongside.
Deep Tier
Medium Tier plus the structured-clinical-arc layer.
Adds:
- Pathways (GAD, Social Anxiety, Exposure, Stress, OCD — multi-week structured programs)
- Pathway formulation (Phase A — case-conceptualization step before pathway start)
- Pathway exposure / ERP (graded fear-ladder approach for Exposure + OCD pathways)
- Maintenance / MBCT (Phase G — relapse-prevention practice after pathway completion)
- Deep-arc scale administration (longitudinal scale tracking for pathway progress)
Good fit if: you want a structured self-directed mental-health practice with multi-week programs.
Switching tiers later
Settings → Profile → Experience tier. Switching down hides the surfaces but doesn't delete data — your habits / mood logs / journal entries / scales / exercise responses all persist; you just don't see them in the nav until you switch back up.
Switching up is instant. The new surfaces appear immediately; we don't backfill anything (you'll start with empty habits, etc., for surfaces that didn't exist on your previous tier).
Why three tiers and not just one?
Different users have very different appetites for engagement. Light avoids overwhelming someone who came in for an IQ score; Deep gives a full practice surface for someone working through a structured pathway. Medium is the most common middle ground.
The assessment quality and clinical disclaimer are identical across all three.
